CHICAGO, ILL. — The Dartmouth men's tennis team bounced back on Saturday with a
solid win over Wisconsin-Green Bay. The Big Green earned a
6-1 victory. The doubles point came down to the duo of junior
Michael Laser (Glencoe, Ill.) and sophomore
Xander Centenari (Towson, Md.) who won six
straight games to win 8-4 after being down an early break, 4-2. In
singles, the Green were able to clinch the match with three straight-set
victories from Centenari, freshman
Cameron Ghorbani (Lexington, Mass.) and freshman
Brandon DeBot (Stevens Point, Wis.). Junior
Chris Ho (Los Altos, Calif.) and senior
Curtis Roby (New York, N.Y.)
dropped their second sets but regained their focus to win in three.
The
team will be back in action in Hanover on Feb. 5-6 against Boston College and
Sacred Heart. The BC match is at 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sacred Heart is at
2 p.m. on Sunday.
