HANOVER, N.H. — Friday evening's Ivy League women's basketball contest featuring nationally ranked Princeton and Dartmouth has been moved from 7 p.m. to 6 p.m. to allow for a television broadcast. The American Sports Network will produce the broadcast, which will still be available on the Ivy League Digital Network.
"What an opportunity to play No. 16 Princeton on the American Sports Network," said head coach Belle Koclanes. "This type of exposure is fantastic for the Ivy League and women's basketball."
Local television affiliates have not been confirmed at the time of this release, but a full list will be made available before the tip on Friday from Jadwin Gym.
Princeton remains the lone undefeated team in women's basketball after surviving a hellacious scare by Yale on Saturday evening at the Lee Amphitheater. The Bulldogs led early in the contest and trailed by one (47-46) with 4:07 remaining. Princeton got to the line late to close out the victory.
Earlier this season, the Tigers defeated the Big Green, 83-65, but the hosts played Princeton tight and trailed by nine (44-35) at the break.
Dartmouth's contest at Penn will remain at 7 p.m. on Saturday and can be seen on the Ivy League Digital Network.
