SATURDAY'S GAME
The Dartmouth field hockey team is once again back home for a Saturday matinee against an Ivy League opponent, playing host to Penn at noon.
LAST TIME OUT
The Big Green scored three second-half goals to lift them to a 4-2 victory last Saturday at home against Brown.
SCOUTING THE QUAKERS
•   Penn comes into the weekend with a 5-5 record overall and is 1-1 against Ancient Eight opponents.
•   Both Ivy games have been decided by one goal with the Quakers taking a 1-0 game at Cornell on Sept. 22, only to drop a 2-1 contest to visiting Harvard last Saturday.
•   Alexa Schneck has been the driving force behind the offense this season, leading the team with four goals and 11 points. Her three assists are tied with Paige Meily for the most on the roster through 10 games.
•   Ava Rosati has played all 728 minutes in the Penn goal this season, boasting a 1.83 goals against average to go along with a .689 save percentage mark.
AGAINST PENN
•   Dartmouth is looking to take away a victory from Saturday's game against Penn for the first time in four years.
•   The Green and White's last win against their Philadelphia foes came in 2014 when Dartmouth earned a 5-3 win in Hanover. The Quakers have won the last three meetings.
•   Penn won last season's meeting in Philly, 3-0.
RECOGNITION!
•   In recognition of her important first career goal, freshman Ceclia Monnin was named the DartmouthSports.com Female Athlete of the Week.
•   Monnin notched the first tally of her Dartmouth career in the 54th minute of play, knocking a ball out of the air over the goalkeeper and into the vacant net for what proved to be the game winner.
CREEPING UP ON 150
•   Already the program's all-time winningest coach,
Amy Fowler is now just ONE win away from 150 for her career, all at Dartmouth.
•   In her 19th season with the Big Green, Fowler came into the season with 145 career victories, a figure she has added four more to this season to put her just one shy of the milestone marker.
FIVE THE LONG WAY
•   Junior Katie Spaos scored her team-leading fifth goal of the season in the contest against the Bears.
•   Her long run from the midfield to the goal was highlighted with a spot on the DartmouthSports.com Plays of the Week.
•   Spanos had a four-game goal streak earlier this season.
•   Like last year, it took Spanos eight games to reach five goals.
•   She is just three points away from 50 in her career and is just 12 away from cracking the program's all-time top-10 for career scoring.
