TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Dartmouth men's cross country team finished 22nd at the 2019 Under Armour Pre-National Invitational hosted by Indiana State.

The Big Green posted 569 points en route to their spot in a field of 38 teams.

Leading the way was Sam Morton in 77th thanks to a 24:38 on the 8000m course.
Owen Ritz (110th, 24:55) and
Benjamin Matejka (113th, 24:57) were the next two Green and White harriers to cross the finish line.

Pat O'Brien (128th, 25:05) and
Liam Jamieson (141st, 25:12) rounded out the scoring for Dartmouth.

BYU and Colorado battled for the top spot with the Cougars edging out the Buffaloes for the title, 83-81. The Big Green were the top Ivy team in the standings, besting Yale (23rd, 575) and Cornell (33rd, 852).

The 2019 NCAA National Championship will take place on this same course on Nov. 23.

The team runs next week at the CCSU Short Course Invite before the 2019 Ivy League Heptagonal Championship on Friday, Nov. 1 in New York City.
