Chad Duernberger Inducted Into University of Charleston Hall of Fame

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – Dartmouth men's soccer assistant coach Chad Duernberger was inducted into the University of Charleston's Hall of Fame over the weekend.

Duernberger is one of the most decorated members of the Charleston soccer program as both a player and a coach. During his four years on the pitch from 2002-05, Duernberger was a three-time All-Conference selection and earned All-Region recognition.

Taking over the program as the head coach in 2008, Duernberger led the team to an undefeated conference championship and was named the NCAA DII National Coach of the Year in his first season at the helm. He also led the team to a conference championship in 2010.

Duernberger is currently in his second year as an assistant coach at Dartmouth.

Congratulations to our very own coach Chad Duernberger, who was this weekend inducted into the University of Charleston Athletics Hall of Fame. Chad was a three time All-Conference and All-Region player at Charleston, before being appointed head coach and leading the team to an undefeated conference championship season, he was also named NSCAA DII National Coach of the Year.
