Katie Douglas was named the Rookie of the Week for her performance in a weekend sweep over Yale and Brown.
From Mendham, New Jersey, Douglas becomes the first Big Green player to earn a weekly award this season. She averaged 16.5 ppg, made 12 out of 19 shots from the field and drilled 5-10 from three. She was also 4-4 from the free throw line.
Playing as the sixth-man this past weekend, Douglas first had 13 points in Dartmouth's buzzer-beating victory over Yale on 5-8 shooting in 33 minutes.
Douglas then had her first career 20-point display against Brown. She shot 7-11 from the field and connected on 4-8 from deep. Douglas scored 12 points in the third quarter, sparking the Big Green offense to pull away from the Bears.
