THIS WEEKEND
Dartmouth heads south to take on Florida Atlantic on Friday and Florida International on Sunday. The Owls are 2-2-0 and are receiving votes in the latest United Soccer Coaches top 25 poll, while the Panthers are currently 1-2-0 with a game to play on Friday before meeting the Big Green.
LAST WEEKEND
- Dartmouth started the season with a bang this past weekend with two wins over ACC opponents, Pittsburgh and Syracuse.
- The Big Green defeated Pitt, 2-1, to secure their first win of the season. Tracey Mills netted the first goal of the season in the 39th minute. Pitt tied it early in the second half, but Izzy Glennon scored the game winner with an assist from Zoe Boocock in the 61st minute.
- Allie Winstanley picked up her first career goal in the ninth minute on Sunday against Syracuse off an assist from Hayley Soriano. Soriano then put the game away in the 75th minute with a double assist from Charlotte Esty and Mills.
- It was the first time the Big Green defeated a Power Five team since 2014 and first time since 2009 that they have taken down two Power Five opponents in the same season.

SCOUTING FLORIDA ATLANTIC
- FAU has played a tough early schedule and have come out of its first four games with a 2-2-0 record. The Owls are receiving three votes in the latest United Soccer Coaches poll.
- The Owls fell 3-2 in overtime in their season opener to Florida, then turned around and beat Grand Canyon, 7-1. They then defeated Miami 2-1 and dropped a close, 1-0, contest to No. 18 Kansas.
- Sammy Vitols leads the team with three goals and one assist, while Miracle Porter also has three goals. Mary O'Hara and Pernille Velta each have two goals and Elisha Holmes has one.
- Goalkeeper Cassidy Wasdin has 11 saves, a .647 save percentage and a 1.54 goals against average.
SCOUTING FLORIDA INTERNATIONAL
- The Panthers lost their first two games to Florida Gulf Coast (2-0) and Jacksonville State (2-0), but defeated Jacksonville University (3-0) for their first win of the year. FIU plays North Florida Friday night before meeting Dartmouth.
- Rayquel Berry leads the team with two goals, while Ellen Halseth has a goal and an assist. Yolanda Albalat has two assists on the year.
ALL-TIME AGAINST THE PANTHERS
- Dartmouth met FIU for the first time ever in August of 2017 and came out with a 1-0 victory on Burnham Field.
- Lauren Lucas scored off an assist from Bianca Ribi in the 80th minute in that game.
WEEKLY AWARDS
- The Big Green have already claimed the first Ivy League Player of the Week award for the 2019 season.
- Tracey Mills picked up the award after scoring against Pittsburgh and recording an assist against Syracuse.
- Mills is the first Big Green player to earn the award since Remy Borinsky did so in 2018.
- Hayley Soriano and Allie Winstanley were named to the honor roll.
- Soriano had a goal and an assist against Syracuse, while Winstanley netted her first career goal against the Orange.
