The Big Green's First V8 enters the national championship as the No. 10 ranked team in the nation in the latest poll.
Coach
Wyatt Allen is looking forward to the competition. "The team's preparations have been going well and our lineups have come together nicely, particularly given the abbreviated spring. The group is extremely appreciative of the opportunity to compete at our national championship, and we are look forward to testing our speed against the best programs in the country."
Dartmouth's lightweight team will also travel to Mercer Lake to compete in races starting on May 28. Due to the challenges of COVID-19 the lightweights were unable to have a competition season in 2021. To include the lightweights, Allen offered the team a spot at the championship to race in the varsity four with cox. Lightweight coach
Dan Roock expressed his appreciation,  "Wyatt was kind enough to offer us the entry for the four, which we accepted. We have four men who are fit enough to produce a competitive crew. There was no pre-qualifying for the IRA this year. Without the need to qualify there are schools attending that usually don't."

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no spectators allowed at the event. The IRA will be providing internet coverage all day on both Friday and Saturday. The webstream schedule and video links can be found at
