Albert Velikonja made their mark in their first collegiate race today as they finished first and second, respectively, to lead the Dartmouth men's cross country team to a first place finish in the Maribel Sanchez Souther Invitational on Saturday morning at the Hanover Country Club.

Dartmouth took first with 37 points, followed by SUNY Geneseo (39 points), and Maine (54 points).

Daley finished with a time of 25:20.13, while Velikonja finished with a time of 25:26.61.

Senior
Andrew Thompson came in at seven overall, finishing with a time of 25:43.92.

Rounding it for the Big Green were junior Jake Winslow (25:57.13) in 12
th and senior
Jason Wang (26:07.85) in 15
th.

For the Big Green, this marked the seventh straight team title, having captured the title every season-opening home meet since 2014.

Dartmouth will be off until they travel to Boston on September 24 for the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown.
