The Big Green were outshot for the first time this season, as the Bulldogs recorded 40 shots on goal to Dartmouth's (0-3-0, 0-3-0 ECAC Hockey) 26.
Maggie Emerson made 36 saves on 39 shots, the fifth-most in a single game of the sophomore's career.
Jenna Donohue notched her first goal of the season in the opening frame, which was assisted by
Georgia Kraus and
CC Bowlby. Donohue and Bowlby have recorded points in each of Dartmouth's last two games.

Laura Fuoco led Dartmouth in the circle, winning 50 percent of her faceoffs.
The Big Green opened the scoring with 8:05 into the game. Donohue found the back off the net to give Dartmouth its first lead of the season, firing a puck through Yale's Pia Dukaric's five-hole to pick up her first of the year.
Yale responded with a goal of its own on the power play with under five minutes to play in the period. Carina DiAntonio's goal marked the first time Dartmouth allowed a goal on the penalty kill in 2022-23. The Bulldogs took their first lead of the afternoon 7:59 into the second period, as a goal from Vita Poniatovskaia scored her first of the season, which was assisted by DiAntonio. Dartmouth tried to even the score, but another goal from DiAntonio late in the period extended Yale's lead to 3-1 heading into the third.
Both goaltenders stood tall in the third period, as Dartmouth failed to cut into Yale's lead. Emerson made stellar stops on a multitude of chances to keep her team in the game until the final horn. An empty-net goal with 18 seconds remaining sealed a 4-1 win for Yale.
