HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth women's hockey team hits the road again for a non-conference meeting with the No. 13 Vermont Catamounts. The Big Green take on their fourth ranked foe of the season and look to win its second-straight game against the Catamounts. The game takes place on Tuesday, November 29 at 7 p.m. in Burlington, Vermont.
LAST TIME OUT
The Big Green last took the ice for a home-and-home weekend series with Saint Anselm. Dartmouth and the Hawks split the series for the second consecutive year, as the Big Green moved to 2-1-0 in non-conference action.

Dartmouth was unable to find the back of the net in the rematch on Sunday in Hanover. Saint Anselm's goalie, Allie Kelley made 56 saves to thwart the Big Green offense and steal a 2-0 win at Thompson Arena. Freshman
Elle Sullivan made her first career start in goal, making 18 saves on 19 shots.
GOALTENDING STANDS TALL
Dartmouth's goaltenders
Maggie Emerson and
Elle Sullivan have performed well in the Big Green's last four contests, allowing just 1.25 goals over games against Colgate, Post and Saint Anselm.
Emerson has stopped 60 of the last 64 shots she has faced, for a save percentage of .938. The sophomore recorded a shutout against Post on November 15 and followed that performance with an 18-save showing against Saint Anselm on November 26 in a 2-1 win.
Sullivan made her collegiate debut in the Big Green's last outing on November 27 against Saint Anselm at home. The freshman was strong in defeat, stopping 18 of 19 shots she faced for a save percentage of .947.
SCOUTING VERMONT
Vermont enters Tuesday's game as the No. 13 ranked program in the nation by the USCHO women's hockey poll. The Catamounts hold a 10-5-1 record, including a 8-3-1 mark in Hockey East competition.
The Catamounts hold a 5-2-1 record at Gutterson Fieldhouse, which includes wins against then-No. 14 UConn, then-No. 15 Boston College, Boston University and a sweep of Maine.
Vermont is led offensively by a pair of international student-athletes, Natálie Mlýnková and Theresa Schafzahl. Mlýnková, a native of Czech Republic, leads the team with 22 points and 12 assists and Schafzahl of Austria leads the Catamounts with 13 goals through 16 games.
Schafzahl leads Hockey East and is second in the nation in goals per game, averaging 0.81 goals per contest.
Jessie McPherson, a junior from Chatham, Ontario, has started 15 tilts for Vermont and comes into Tuesday's game with a mark of 9-5-1. She has allowed just 2.04 goals per game, the sixth-best in Hockey East.
Vermont last took the ice from November 17-18 against Merrimack on the road in a pair of Hockey East contests. The Catamounts dominated their foe, winning both games by scores of 5-1 and 3-0.
ALL-TIME AGAINST THE CATAMOUNTS
The Big Green hold a 39-7-0 lead in the all-time series against Vermont.
Last season, Dartmouth defeated Vermont in Hanover on November 9, 2021 by a score of 3-2.
Lauren Messier scored the overtime goal to lift the Big Green past the Catamounts.
Dartmouth has won six of the last 10 meetings against Vermont, including two of the last three.
