HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth women's hockey team dropped a 4-3 decision to the Merrimack Warriors on Saturday afternoon. The Big Green received goals from three different players but dropped the finale of a home-and-home series at Thompson Arena.
Georgia Kraus,
Laura Fuoco and
Jenna Donohue each found the back of the net for the Big Green.
CC Bowlby recorded a pair of assists for her second consecutive game and leads the Big Green with eight on the year. Fuoco,

Freshman goaltender
Elle Sullivan made 21 saves for the Big Green, while Merrimack's Emma Gorski stopped 33 of 36 shots in the win. Merrimack capitalized on one of two penalties taken by the Big Green, while Dartmouth was unsuccessful in eight minutes of power play
Dartmouth was dominant in the faceoff circle, winning 60 percent of draws.
Sydney Herrington won seven of nine faceoffs she took on Saturday, while Kraus won 61.5 percent of her draws.
Merrimack jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first period, as goals from Alexa Pongo and Emily Oosterveld put Dartmouth on the back foot.
After Merrimack's first goal, Dartmouth appeared to tie the game with 6:37 remaining in the period. The goal was waived off and after review the call on the ice stood.
The Warriors' second of the period was on the power play after a delay of game call was assessed to Dartmouth on a faceoff in the offensive zone moments after the overturned goal.
Dartmouth outshot Merrimack 11-4 in the opening frame. The Big Green were unable to solve Gorski in the first 20 minutes of action.
The second period began, and Dartmouth quickly equalized the contest with a pair of goals in less than a minute. Kraus tapped home a rebound following a shot from the point by Powell to cut the deficit to one.
Just 58 seconds later, Fuoco ripped a shot from the circle past Gorki to tie the game up. Dartmouth challenged Merrimack's defense with 13 shots in the second, compared to the Warriors' three and went into the third period tied, 2-2.
Merrimack struck back with a pair of goals 31 seconds apart early in the third period. Tallies from Hannah Corneliusen and Allison Reeb helped the Warriors reclaim their two-goal lead. Dartmouth spent the rest of the period challenging Gorski with shots.
With the goalie pulled, Donohue forced a puck past Gorki to cut her team's deficit to one. The Big Green were unable to find the back of the net before time expired, sealing Dartmouth's sixth home loss of the year.
Dartmouth holds a record of 4-11-0 record, while Merrimack moves to 6-13-1. The all-time series between the programs is now tied, 1-1-0 following a split in the season series.
