This installment focuses on
Izaiah Robinson of the men's basketball. A native of Montclair, New Jersey, Robinson appeared in 21 games off the bench for the Big Green during his sophomore season.
DartmouthSports.com: What have you been doing during your sophomore summer?
Izaiah Robinson: I am currently an intern with a fintech investment platform startup called Scout.
DS: What is your favorite place on campus?
IR: Leede Arena and Collis.
DS: What was it in the recruiting process that sold you on Dartmouth?
IR: The extensive amount of opportunities that Dartmouth has to offer both academically and athletically.
DS: Outside of sports, what are you most passionate about?
IR: Learning new things and skills that I can use to become a better individual.
DS: Other than your parents, who has had the greatest influence on your life?
IR: Kobe Bryant.
DS: What's the app you use most on your phone?
IR: Spotify.
DS: What are your plans for your upcoming off-term?
IR: During my off-term, I will be working as an investment banking intern with Wells Fargo.
DS: You step outside tomorrow and find a lottery ticket that ends up winning $10 million (after taxes). What would you do with the money?
IR: Invest most of it and use the rest for myself and my family.
DS: What would be your best advice to your 15-year-old self?
IR: Stay the course, be bold, and keep moving forward.
DS: If you could go anywhere in the world right now, where would you go and why?
IR: I would want to go to Egypt to visit the pyramids and I would also go to an island like Ibiza or Bora Bora and chill.
