Ivy League Women’s Basketball Preseason Poll Announced

Dartmouth was picked to finish eighth
HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth women's basketball team was picked to finish eighth in the 2023 Ivy League Women's Basketball Preseason Poll, which was announced Thursday afternoon.
Defending champion Princeton held the top spot after last season's NCAA Tournament Round of 32 appearance, while Columbia, Harvard and Penn followed to round out the top four. Yale was picked fifth and Brown narrowly edged Cornell for sixth.
Dartmouth's season begins Monday, Nov. 6 with a trip to Bryant and fans will first have the chance to see the Big Green in action at Leede Arena on Sunday, Nov. 12 when they host Siena. Ivy League play begins Saturday, Jan. 6 at home against Brown.
The 2023-24 campaign marks the Big Green's first under new Gail Koziara Boudreaux '82 and Family Head Coach Linda Cimino. Dartmouth returns its three leading scorers from a season ago, including junior guard Victoria Page, who averaged a team-high 10.1 points per game in 2022-23 and powered Dartmouth to a road win over CAA Tournament champion Monmouth with a career-high 25 points.
All home games, along with all road Ivy League games, will be streamed live on ESPN+. Live stats and audio broadcasts for all home games will be available through DartmouthSports.com.
