CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — In their final race before championship season, the Dartmouth men's cross country team competed at the XC23 Invite on Saturday morning, hosted by the University of Virginia at Panorama Farms.

The Big Green finished 16
th in event out of 23 teams, posting a score of 376 points.

Will Daley paced Dartmouth with a 15
th-place finish, completing the race with a time of 23:34.3.
Albert Velikonja finished just four seconds behind with a time of 23:38.4, taking 19
th.

James Lawrence finished in the 79
th with a time of 24:25.2. Rounding out the scoring for Dartmouth was
Declan O'Scannlain (25:04.0) in 144
th and
Ashton Bange (25:09.5) in 148
th.

Arkansas claimed the team win while the Razorbacks' Ben Shearer also took the individual win.

Dartmouth heads to Franklin Park in two weeks for the Ivy League Heptagonal Cross Country Championship. For the first time in the 85-year history of the event, it will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
