CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — The Dartmouth women's cross country team competed at the XC23 Invite on Saturday morning, hosted by the University of Virginia at Panorama Farms.
The Big Green placed 17
th as a team, posting a score of 409 points.
Madeleine Locher led the way for Dartmouth, finishing 54
th with a time of 21:02.7.
Emily Levonas finished shortly after Locher, taking 60
th with a time of 21:08.1.
Bella Pietrasiewicz crossed the finish line at 21:29.1 to take 91
st.
Katherine Strong claimed 97
th with a time of 21:31.5 while
Natalie Shapiro finished with a time of 21:45.2 to take 123
rd, rounding out the scoring for the Big Green.
BYU claimed the team win while the Cougars' Carmen Alder also took the individual win.
Dartmouth heads to Franklin Park in two weeks for the Ivy League Heptagonal Cross Country Championship. For the first time in the 85-year history of the event, it will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
