BOSTON, Mass. — Madeleine Locher and
Emily Levonas both posted top-10 finishes, leading the Dartmouth women's cross country team to third at the Ivy League Heptagonal Cross Country Championship on Saturday morning at Franklin Park in Boston. Locher and Levonas both received Second Team All-Ivy recognition.
The Big Green posted 90 points to take third. Harvard claimed the team title with 47 points, while the Crimson's Maia Ramsden won the individual title with a time of 20:16.2.
Locher finished the race with a time of 21:06 to take eighth while Levonas was right behind in ninth with a time of 21:10.3.
Katherine Strong finished 20
th in the race with a time of 21:50.2.
Ellie Tymorek claimed 23
rd with a time of 21:53.3. Rounding out the scoring for the Big Green was
Anna Banovac, who took 31
st with a time of 22:00.3.
Dartmouth now turns its attention towards the NCAA Northeast Regional at Van Cortlandt Park on Friday, Nov. 10.
Notes: This was the highest team finish for the Big Green at Heps since a second-place finish in 2018.
