ACTION-PACKED WEEKEND AT LEEDE ARENA
Dartmouth returns to Leede Arena for the first time since Jan. 21 to host Cornell on Friday and Columbia on Saturday. Dartmouth hosts its Play 4 Kay game, celebrating the legacy of former NC State women's basketball head coach Kay Yow, on Friday before promoting autism awareness the following day.
LAST TIME OUT
Dartmouth suffered a 64-47 loss on the road last Saturday as Princeton picked up its ninth straight win.
Victoria Page scored a team-high 12 points and
Emma Koch grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds.
MORE BOARDS FOR KOCH
Emma Koch has double-digit rebounds in back-to-back games for the first time in her career after recording 12 at Yale and 10 at Princeton. It was her seventh game this season with double-digit rebounds - only three players in the Ivy League have more, with one being Columbia's Kaitlyn Davis (eight games). Koch ranks seventh in the conference with 6.6 rebounds per game.
LAST TIME AGAINST CORNELL
27 turnovers, which tied a season-worst, plagued Dartmouth in a 61-48 loss in New Year's Day's Ivy League opener.
Grace Niekelski led the Big Green with 14 points while Cornell's Ania McNicholas and Shannon Mulroy combined for 32 points. The Big Red were held to a 33.9 field goal percentage, the second lowest for a Dartmouth opponent this season.
LAST TIME AGAINST COLUMBIA
Kaitlyn Davis' 19-point triple-double was the driving force in Columbia's 79-50 win on Jan. 28. Abbey Hsu, the Ivy League's leading scorer, went 5-of-8 from deep to match Davis with 19 points.
MORE ON TRIPLE-DOUBLES
In both games this weekend, Dartmouth will face an opposing player with a triple-double to her credit (Cornell's Ania McNicholas and Columbia's Kaitlyn Davis). 22 players in Division I have accomplished that feat this year, including the nation's leader Caitlin Clark, who leads the nation with three and met Dartmouth in December.
FACING TALENT ON BOTH ENDS
Cornell's Ania McNicholas, one of the nation's premier defenders, is one of six players in Division I this season with 10 or more steals in a single game. Columbia's Abbey Hsu is currently the country's best volume 3-point shooter, averaging a Division I-best 3.52 triples per game.
LOOKING AHEAD
Dartmouth will honor its seniors and retire the jersey of Gail Koziara Boudreaux '82 on Saturday, Feb. 25 when the Big Green host Penn for the final home game of the season.
