HANOVER, N.H. —
Emma Koch of the Dartmouth women's basketball team received Academic All-Ivy recognition, per the conference's announcement of postseason awards on Wednesday afternoon.
Academic All-Ivy designation is given to student-athletes (juniors or seniors) who made significant contributions to their respective teams while maintaining good academic standing.
Koch, a senior majoring in engineering sciences, holds a 3.87 grade point average and appeared in all 28 games, starting all but two, during the 2022-23 season. Only four players in the Ivy League had more games with double-digit rebounds than Koch, who averaged a team-best 6.6 boards per game and reached double figures on eight occasions. She grabbed a career-high 13 in Dartmouth's home win over Merrimack and later racked up a career-best nine offensive rebounds at Yale.
In addition to her Academic All-Ivy selection, the co-captain was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team in February and is currently on the ballot for the organization's Academic All-America honor.
