BOSTON, Mass. — The Dartmouth women's cross country team resumed competition on Friday afternoon, running in the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown at Franklin Park in Boston.
The Big Green finished in eighth place out of 16 teams after collecting 169 points. Harvard took the team win with 61 points.
Emily Levonas was the first Dartmouth runner to cross the finish line, claiming 17
th-place with a time of 17:38.8.
Madeleine Locher was not far behind, taking 19
th with a time of 17:41.1.
Natalie Shapiro took 41
st in the event after finishing with a time of 17:57.8. Next for the Big Green was
Bella Pietrasiewicz, who ran the race in 18:06.3, taking 45
th. Rounding out the scoring for Dartmouth was
Katherine Strong, who finished 51
st with a time of 18:13.4.
Maia Ramsden of Harvard won the meet with a time of 17:00.1.
Dartmouth returns to Franklin Park again next Saturday, Oct. 7, for the New England Championship.
