Dartmouth returns to Burnham Field on Saturday for an Ivy League contest against Cornell. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m.
THE UNBEATEN START CONTINUES
The Big Green continued its strong start to the season with a 1-0 victory over Yale in the Ivy League opener last Saturday evening.
Hannah Curtin scored the lone goal of the match, her first of the season, in the 71
st minute.
Audrey Marin played a low-driven cross into the box that Curtin struck first time and tucked inside the near post.
Emily Hardy made seven saves to record her sixth clean sheet of the year.
IVY WEEKLY HONORS
On Monday, Hardy was named the Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week after her performance in the 1-0 victory over Yale.
THE DEFENSE
The Dartmouth defense has allowed just four goals through nine games this season.
Emily Hardy has recorded six shutouts and boasts a .915 save percentage.
Hardy's .915 save percentage ranks fifth in Division I and she is ranked sixth in shutouts.
SCOUTING CORNELL
Cornell enters the game with a 3-1-4, 0-1-0 record. They are coming off a 1-0 victory over Colgate on Tuesday evening. The Big Red fell to Princeton in their Ivy League opener, 4-2.
Abigail Bishara, Mia Gonzalez, Ava Laden, Maddie Leroy and Sydney Malaga each have two goals for Cornell. Raegan Pauwels has a team-high four assists.
Cornell has utilized two goalkeepers this season, Erica Fox and Natalie Medugno. They have combined to make 26 saves with a save percentage of .722 and a goals against average of 1.25.
ALL-TIME AGAINST THE BIG RED
The Big Green are 29-10-5 all-time against the Big Red. Cornell claimed a 1-0 win in Ithaca last season, but it was Dartmouth who won the last meeting in Hanover, a 2-1 win during the 2021 season.
