HANOVER, N.H. — Linda Cimino, Dartmouth's Gail Koziara Boudreaux '82 and Family Head Coach of Women's Basketball, has announced the team's 2023-24 schedule. The season begins on Monday, Nov. 6 with a visit to Bryant and Ivy League play commences Saturday, Jan. 6 when Dartmouth hosts Brown.
The Big Green are set to play a 27-game slate, which includes 14 home dates. Fans will first have the chance to see Dartmouth in action at Leede Arena when Siena comes to Hanover for the home opener on Sunday, Nov. 12.
Dartmouth's season opener at Bryant marks the first time the Big Green have opened the season on the road since the 2015-16 season. The team then returns home for two straight — the home opener against Siena and a matchup with Keene State (Nov. 14), the first of back-to-back intrastate opponents for the Big Green. Dartmouth visits New Hampshire on Sunday, Nov. 26 before traveling to Vermont on Thursday, Nov. 30.
The Big Green host UC Riverside — the first-ever meeting of the two programs — to open their December slate on Monday, Dec. 4. They'll host Navy on Friday, Dec. 8 before hitting the road for three straight. Merrimack, who Dartmouth defeated on a last-second 3-pointer a season ago, hosts the Big Green on Sunday, Dec. 10, followed by UAlbany (Dec. 12) and finally UMass Lowell (Dec. 14).
Dartmouth will enjoy a six-game midseason homestand, which includes the Ivy League opener, beginning on Thursday, Dec. 21 with a matchup against Lafayette. Howard, another first meeting, follows on Tuesday, Jan. 2 and Ancient Eight action kicks off the following Saturday with Brown visiting Leede Arena. VTSU Lyndon comes for a final non-conference tilt on Sunday, Jan. 7 and Ivy League competition rolls on with home matchups against Penn (Jan. 13) and defending champion Princeton (Jan. 15).
The Ivy League schedule takes Dartmouth on the road for the first time on Saturday, Jan. 20 with a trip to Yale, marking the first of four straight conference road tests. The second meeting with Brown stands alone the following weekend (Jan. 27) and trips to Cornell (Feb. 2) and Columbia (Feb. 3) make for an action-packed ending to the first half of conference play.
Leede Arena plays host to four straight, starting with Harvard on Saturday, Feb. 10. Dartmouth squares off with Columbia (Feb. 16) and Cornell (Feb. 17) for the second time in two weeks before hosting Yale on Saturday, Feb. 24. Trips to Penn (March 1) and Princeton (March 2) follow, and the regular season concludes with a visit to Harvard on Saturday, March 9. The Ivy League Tournament, hosted by Columbia, runs March 15-16.
Each home game, in addition to all road Ivy League games, will be streamed live on ESPN+ and live stats will be available for all contests via DartmouthSports.com.
Fans can purchase season tickets through the Dartmouth Athletics Ticket Office. Single-game tickets will be available on Sept. 18. For just $50, fans 12 and under can join the Lil' Green Kids Club and enjoy access to all Dartmouth home athletic competitions throughout 2023-24.
