Bethlehem, Pa.—Dartmouth women's cross country finished 11th at the Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University on Saturday.
The Big Green were paced by senior Madeleine Locher in the 6k race as she turned a top 20 performance finishing 19th. Caroline Livingston finished less than 30 seconds later for the Big Green as she finished 60th overall.
Ellie Tymorek was the third member of the Big Green to finish with a time of 21:18.3, she placed 89th. Andie Murray finished 108th while Katherine Strong finished 122nd to close out scoring for the Big Green.
Clarie McDonald competed in the Open Women's race and finished 11th.
"The women had some great individual performances with Madeleine Locher in 19th to the lead the team and Claire McDonald finishing 13th in the open race" Interim Cross Country/Distance Coach Ben True added.
True is excited to see the progress of the team as the season continues "We all look towards our next major race in two weeks at Princeton as the season progresses to the larger meets of the season."
The Big Green compete in the New England Championships next week in Hopkinton, N.H. before traveling to Princeton on Oct. 18.
