ITHACA, N.Y. –
Alexander Ye swam a lifetime best in the 100 fly to highlight the men's swimming meet versus Cornell and Harvard on Saturday afternoon from Ithaca.
Â
"On the mens side we only had 14 swimmers and 3 divers competing - that takes a lot of guts to go up against the other teams' competition rosters of 26. I'm really proud of how they shifted the energy and momentum of the meet after the first break. This meet was a good learning opportunity, and we will use that to have a great lead up to our midseason meet in December," said Head Coach
Milana Socha.
Â
Colton Rasmussen swam to a win over Cornell in the 100 free with a time of 45.38.
Â
Ye recorded a lifetime best time in the 100 fly, coming in at 49.70.
Â
Jacob Turner took the win over Cornell. His time of 1:50.62 is now number nine on the All-Time Top-10 list in the 200 IM.
Â
The 4x100 free relay of Rasmussen,
Yan Dvoretskiy,
William McClelland and
Logan Pack won against Harvard with a time of 3:05.37.
