PRINCETON, N.J. – The Dartmouth College men's swimming and diving team opened up their 24-25 season in Princeton, N.J. today.
"I think our men surprised Brown in the first half of the meet which was great to see. The team stepped up and senior captain Alex Ye led the way with a very strong Ivy opening meet. I'm excited to see who else in the league this team will surprise during the rest of the season!" said Head Coach

The 200 medley relay of
Colton Rasmussen,
Eddy Chen,
Alexander Ye and
Logan Pack swam a time of 1:30.57. This time put the relay ninth on Dartmouth's All-Time Top 10 list. Pack recorded a lifetime best for his first ever 19 second split.
The 1000 free swept Brown going 1-2-3 with
Tommy Erwin leading the charge and
Xavier Orlic and
Ronan Fahey rounding out the sweep.
Rasmussen and
Jagger Stachtiaris went 1-2 over Brown with times of 49.62 and 50.37.
Alex Ye swam a lifetime best in his 100 breast and landed himself third on the All-Time Top10 best times list.
In the 200 fly,
Jacob Turner had a time of 1:49.18,
Yan Dvoretskiy swam a 1:50.46 and
Andy Peterson swam a 1:52.74 to go 1-2-3 versus Brown. Turner swam a lifetime best and his time landed him sixth in Dartmouth's best times in the 200 fly.
Dvoretskiy finished the 100 fly with a time of 48.83.
Dean Gustavson recorded a lifetime best in the event with a time of 54.92.
Ye won the 400 IM against Brown with a 3:57.07 and Stachtiaris recorded a lifetime best time in the event after swimming a time of 4:10.00.
For divers,
Everett Tai came in fifth in the 3 meter with a score of 291.55. He also placed fifth in the 1 meter with a score of 299.80
