FINAL STRETCH
With their final home game in the books, the Big Green hit the road for three straight to close out the 2023-24 season. With seven wins so far, Dartmouth has more than tripled last year's win total and is allowing 13 fewer points per game.
SCOUTING PENN
Vying for an Ivy Madness bid, Penn enters a back-to-back home weekend coming off a 61-54 road win over Cornell. Three Quakers, led by Jordan Obi's 18-point double-double, scored in double figures during the victory. Stina Almqvist is the leading scorer with 15.2 points per game and Obi grabs a team-best 7.9 rebounds per game. Dartmouth led Penn (26-24) at halftime in this season's previous meeting in Hanover, but ended up on the wrong side of a 53-39 final.
SCOUTING PRINCETON
Princeton saw its 15-game win streak and hopes of an undefeated Ivy League slate come to an end last Saturday with a 67-65 loss at Columbia. The Lions and the Tigers are now tied atop the Ancient Eight with 10-1 records. Princeton was ranked nationally (25th) before the Columbia game and is now receiving votes in the AP Poll. Taking care of the ball is one of the cornerstones of the Tigers' success as they lead the Ivy League and rank among the top 20 nationally in turnover margin. Madison St. Rose led Princeton with 14 points in a 63-40 win in Hanover on Jan. 15.
ALL-TIME VERSUS PENN
Dartmouth is 43-42 in the all-time series against Penn and has lost 17 straight with the last win coming on Feb. 22, 2014. March 2, 2019 was the only game in that stretch that was decided by single digits (56-52).
ALL-TIME VERSUS PRINCETON
Dartmouth is 44-44 all-time against Princeton and has won only one of the last 27 meetings dating back to the 2009-10 season. A home win on March 4, 2017 represents the Big Green's most recent victory over the Tigers. Dartmouth hasn't won in Jadwin Gym since Jan. 30, 2009 (71-67 in overtime).
FEWEST FOULS
Since November, the Big Green have led the nation in fewest fouls per game, currently averaging just 10.9 per contest. The next closest is Oregon at 11.8. Dartmouth ranked among the top five nationally in scoring defense as recently as the first weekend of February and now stands at 26th, allowing an Ivy League-best 56.4 points per game.
SEASON WRAPS UP AT HARVARD
Dartmouth heads to Harvard on Tuesday, March 6 for the final game of the 2023-24 season. Tip-off inside Lavietes Pavilion is set for 8 p.m.
