HANOVER, N.H. – On Wednesday, the baseball team gathered for their annual end of season banquet at the Thomas Dent Cabin, honoring each member of the team, including the nine seniors, as well as handing out the team awards.
Following a short message from the coaches about each first-year through junior student-athlete, the coaching staff presented the team awards. First,
Drew Koenen was named the team's Rookie of the Year for his performance on the mound this season. The first-year, right handed pitcher made 16 appearances this season, the second most of any pitcher. Koenen posted a team low 4.38 earned run average, posted a 1-2 record with a second best two saves in 24.2 innings pitched. Koenen fanned 23 batters and dealt only seven walks this season.
Junior
Zackarie Casebonne was named the Big Green's most improved player, posting a .254 batting average in 22 appearances. Casebonne knocked two doubles and two home runs this season, pushing 13 runs across home plate. Casebonne proved successful in Ivy League play, securing three of his four multi-RBI games against conference opponents. He went 2-for-4 with three RBI in the middle game with the Columbia Lions and 1-for-3 with a grand slam in the middle game against the Harvard Crimson. His most impactful day came against Brown though. A two-out RBI single in the bottom of the ninth capped the comeback, walk-off series sweep of the Bears, a series that progressively saw Casebonne get better and better at the plate.

Bauer had multiple stellar performances on the mound, posting a 1-1 record in 20.1 innings across 13 appearances. He put up back-to-back scoreless outings in his first two showings of the year at North Florida and LMU. Bauer also pitched in two of the three wins against Brown, combining for one run on one hit in 1.2 innings pitched.
Two members of the Big Green took home two awards at this year's banquet, fifth-year
