HANOVER, N.H.—The Dartmouth women's rugby team defeated Princeton 93-0 on Saturday at Brophy Field.
The Big Green opened the scoring just over five minutes into the game as Cindy Taulava came out of a scrum and sprinted into the end zone for her first try of the season. Annie Henrich lined up the conversion and drilled it to give Dartmouth an early 7-0 lead.
Taulava notched her second try of the afternoon just five minutes later, following the try Henrich once again converted on the conversion to put the Big Green up 14-0.

Henrich tallied her first try of the afternoon at the 16:50 mark of the opening half after taking ball from the middle of the field to right side and making a quick cut to the try line. She then notched her third conversion of the game to give Dartmouth a 21-0 lead.

About three minutes later, first-year Vasiti Turagavou tallied her first collegiate try as she sprinted past the Princeton defenders to give Dartmouth a 26-0 lead. Vanessa Ortiz-Pallen converted the conversion to make it a 28-0 Dartmouth lead.
Less than a minute later Sierra Santiago bolted into the try zone for her first points of the game. Ortiz-Pallen knocked the conversion through the uprights to give Dartmouth a 35-0 lead.
Three minutes later, Asialeata Meni gave Dartmouth a commanding 40-0 lead with her first try of the season. Meni fought through multiple defenders to the try zone to increase the Big Green lead. Oriz-Pallen once again nailed the conversion.
Katija Crawford got on the scoresheet at the 35:07 mark as she made a few defenders miss around midfield and sprinted through the Princeton line. Henrich then drilled her fourth conversion of the game to give Dartmouth a 54-0 lead at halftime.

Katie Hansen opened the scoring in the second half just 1:45 into the frame. She took a quick pass from Ortiz-Pallen and fought through a couple Princeton defenders and dove into the try zone.
Paola Arredondo Almeida scored back-to-back tries just over 10 minutes apart, Henrich added a conversion and Dartmouth led 71-0 with just under 17 minutes remaining in regulation.

Santiago completed her first career hattrick with back-to-back tries at the 66:00 and 69:30 marks to put Dartmouth up 81-0.

Jordis Lomu notched her first career points at the 76:20 mark as she faked a pass and split a pair of defenders as she dove into the try zone. She drilled her first conversion for her sixth and seventh career points.
Arredondo-Almeida closed out the scoring in the 80th minute as Henrich kicked the ball to the try line and Arredondo-Almeida won the foot race to the ball for her second try of the game.
Dartmouth is now 3-0 against Princeton since they turned varsity in 2022. In those three games Dartmouth has outscored the Tigers 303-17.
The Big Green have started 2-0 in four straight seasons.
Dartmouth is back on the field on Sunday, Sept. 22 at 12 p.m. The Big Green takes on Queens for the first time in program history, the game will take place in Annapolis, Md.
