Ryan Cornish and
Brandon Mitchell-Day both recorded double doubles as the Dartmouth men's basketball team fell to Harvard 66-58 from Lavietes Pavillion in Cambridge on Saturday afternoon.
Cade Haskins added 12 points for the Big Green.

Cornish drained 11 points and grabbed 10 rebounds while Mitchell-Day had 10 points and 12 rebounds.
The Big Green's record falls to 14-13 (8-6 Ivy League) and Harvard's improves to 12-15 (7-7 Ivy League). Â

FIRST HALF: 
- The opening of the game went back and forth until seven from Harvard gave them a 13-9 lead with 14:45 left in the half.
- An 8-2 run midway through the half put the Big Green up 19-17.
- With 7:18 remaining, the Crimson jumped ahead 26-21 off a three pointer and two dunks.
- The half ended with five unanswered from the Crimson and Harvard took a 40-31 lead into halftime.
SECOND HALF:
- A three-pointer right out of halftime from Harvard opened up a 43-31 lead for the Crimson. They added another six to make it a 49-33 game with 15:15 left.
- Out of the first media timeout, two baskets from Cornish and three consecutive three pointers from Haskins closed the Harvard lead to 51-46. Â
- An 11-6 Big Green run, assisted by another three from Haskins, cut the Harvard lead to two, 59-57 with 2:44 remaining.
- Seven unanswered from Harvard allowed them to regain a steady lead and they secured the 66-58 victory.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Haskins shot 45% from both the field and beyond the arc.
- Three Big Green players were in double digits.
- Dartmouth edged Harvard in points off the bench, 18-11.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- This is the first time since 2019 that a Big Green duo has recorded a double double. The last time it happened was on Dec. 21, 2019 when Chris Knight (21 pts, 10 rebs) and Aaryn Rai (13 pts, 10 rebs) both recorded double doubles.
