HANOVER, N.H. — Milana Socha, Dartmouth head swimming and diving coach, announced on Friday the Big Green's 2025-26 schedule, which begins with home meets until December followed by a mix of events against strong competition that will help prepare them for their respective Ivy League Championships in February.
The schedule begins with a home scrimmage against Boston College on Saturday, Oct. 18. Next up is a tri-meet at home against Brown and Princeton on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 7-8 followed by two other Ivy League opponents coming into town the following weekend with Harvard and Cornell Nov. 14 (men's) and Nov. 15 (women's). All home meets will take place at Karl Michael and Spaudling Pools.
"The coaches are very excited to see what this group of swimmers and divers can do as a team this year," said Socha. "Kicking off the season with Boston College will give the team a chance to measure up against a Power 4 team. As always, we will have great competition through the Ivy League dual meet season, and this year look to elevate our standings amongst our Ivy peers."
December features the Open Water Nationals in Sarasota, Florida before a tri-meet at Penn against the host Quakers and Yale on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 16-17. That leads into the Tate Ramsden Invite at home, which is also the Big Green's senior recognition, against UMass and Northeastern (women only).
"The Tate Ramsden'17 Invite in January is always a special weekend honoring our seniors and celebrating the alumni who come out to visit," said Socha. "The team is poised to make some moves in our Championship season and will be well set up for exciting performances."
The regular season closes out the weekend of Friday and Saturday Feb. 6-7 in the Boston Open Invite (at Boston University) for swimming, while the divers will be at the Northeastern Diving Invite.
The women's Ivy League Championship is set for Brown on Feb. 18-21, with the men's the following week at Princeton (Feb. 25-28). March features NCAA Diving Zones and the National Championship for swimming at Georgia Tech.
