One of the fiercest hitters in the Ivy League who returns for a medical redshirt season after being injured in the third game of the 2007 season and missing the final seven games ... should finish career among Dartmouth’s top 10 all-time leading tacklers if he stays healthy ... two-time All-Ivy League selection (second team in 2006, honorable mention in 2005) ... one of three Loyola High players on the football roster (Casey Frost, Jonathan Summers) ... standout on the Dartmouth rugby team who led the Big Green to the Ivy League title and the national round of 16 last spring ... may have the chance to continue in rugby after college.
2007: Served as Big Green co-captain ... had arguably the best game of his career in the season-opening loss to Colgate with 13 tackles, two interceptions and a couple of forced fumbles ... named Ivy League defensive player of the week two games later after another 13-tackle game that saw him break up two passes in a narrow win over Penn ... also caught a 20-yard pass on a fake punt against New Hampshire ... lost for the season making a hard hit against Quakers ... tied for eighth in team in tackles with 33 and second in interceptions with two despite playing in just three games.
2006: Won Kenneth T. Young Award for contributions by underclassman on defense (also won this award in 2005) ... reached double figures in tackles five times (Brown 12, Holy Cross 12, Yale 11, Colgate 11, Princeton 10) ... forced a fumble in win at Columbia and recovered a fumble against Yale ... selected for the Ivy League Honor Roll for his play against Colgate and Holy Cross.
2005: Had 90 stops (44 solo), three pass breakups, a fumble recovery, three forced fumbles and 2.5 fumbles for a loss ... starter all season ... double figures in tackles six times ... season-high 14 tackles against Cornell, 13 against Yale and 12 against Princeton ... had a four-yard rush against the Eli ... also snared a four-yard pass versus Columbia.
2004: Appeared in five games, made three tackles.
High School: Earned four letters in football, serving as captain senior year ... lettered twice in track ... football MVP as a senior ... made first all-league, All-CIF Division I and All-Southern Section teams as a senior ... football team won CIF Division I title in 2003 with an 11-3 record.
