Has been Dartmouth's starting punter for the past two years ... big athlete with potential to kick the ball high and long ... has also served as holder for placements.
2007: Averaged 34.4 yards on 44 punts with a long of 53 ... had 14 kicks inside the 20 and 12 punts were fair-caught ... completed one pass on a fake, hitting Ian Wilson for 20 yards and a first down against New Hampshire.
2006: Increased average four yards from the previous season to 35.4 ... kicked five times for a 41.2 average in finale at Princeton ... averaged 41.0 yards on five kicks at Columbia ... completed both pass attempts off kicking situations.
2005: Kicked nine times for a 31.4 average but had two blocked.
High School: Lettered for three years and served as captain during his time at St. Stephens & St. Agnes from 2002-05 ... attended St. John's College High School from 2000-02 ... played quarterback, free safety, kicker and punter ... won the 2004 Nike accuracy contest for quarterbacks hosted by the University of Virginia ... completed 46.9 percent of his throws with 11 touchdowns ... named first team all-state as a senior after making the All-Interstate Athletic Conference first team as a junior ... lettered for one year in basketball.
Personal: Religion and history double major ... born June 21, 1986 ... interned in summer of 2008 at the Department of Labor ... father, Bob, competed in the javelin at Georgetown, and mother, Lizanne, was a basketball player for the Hoyas ... something that will surprise people: “During my sophomore year in high school, I got a severe concussion and had amnesia for about a month.”
