Prior to Dartmouth: Desiderio started his collegiate career with Brown in 2025-26 while playing in 31 games for the Bears. He tallied 12 points with four goals and eight assists. In his second collegiate game he tallied a pair of assists against Air Force. The defensemen scored his first NCAA goal against Alaska-Anchorage on Nov. 19. Prior to his collegiate career he played two seasons with Dubuque in the USHL, with the Fighting Saints he played 108 games with 17 goals and 35 assists. In 2022-23, he played alongside Austin Salani with the Austin Bruins of the NAHL where he had 20 points in 59 games.
