Plans for 2011
Ryan plans on interning for Oktane Media, a media marketing company in New York City. He will also be working to improve his lacrosse game and get into the best possible shape for the season, as well as possibly taking courses for college credit.
Sophomore (2011): In his second season, Alexander appeared in four games and 46:32 minutes ... totaled 11 saves on a .550 save percentage ... had an 11.60 goals against average ... recorded a career-high five saves in the loss at Cornell.
Freshman (2010): Saw action in two games during his first season with the Big Green ... played over 20 minutes in net ... gave up five goals and made two saves ... put up a 14.88 goals against average ... the two saves came against the Tigers.
Before Dartmouth: Competed in lacrosse all four years at South Side High School ... won the Nassau County Conference II championship with a 15-4 overall record and a 10-0 conference mark ... named honorable mention All-Nassau County as a junior ... also played four years of football at South Side and was a Scholar Athlete for the Cyclones.
Personal: Ryan Alexander was born Dec. 13, 1990 ... son of Michael and Tara Alexander ... has a twin brother and a sister ... was a member of both the National Honor Society and French National Honor Society ... interested in history and education ... would like to participate in community service and government ... enjoys snowboarding.
