Andrew Ching, out of Calgary, Alberta, brings both style and finesse to the Dartmouth Men's Track team. During his high school track career he participated in the high jump, long jump, and triple jump and won the Alberta Provincial Track and Field Championships in the high jump from 2002 to 2005. In 2006 he won the gold for the triple jump in the New England Prep School Track and Field Championships. Ching also lettered in volleyball and basketball and from 2003 to 2005 he was nominated for Western Canada High School's Athlete of the Year award. In 2005 Ching was named Calgary Spartans Track Club Junior Athlete of the Year and went on to participate in the Canada Summer Games and Canadian Jr. Nationals.
Andrew plans to graduate from Dartmouth College with a degree in Economics which he may use to pursue a career in business. His parents are David and Natty Ching.
