Two years ago, Carmody came to Dartmouth as one of the top high school middle distance runners in the country after he was the runner-up at the Nike outdoor championship in the 800. He has tremendous range and can compete at distances from the 400 to 1500. Last winter, he won his first Heps title on his home track in Leverone Field, and he followed that up in the spring with the 800 leg on the school record setting distance medley squad at the Penn Relays. After only two years at Dartmouth, Carmody ranks second on the all-time list in the 500 and third on the 800 list. He is projected to be a future All-American for the Big Green.
