JUNIOR (2020)
All-East First Team for second straight year … USCSCA Collegiate All-Academic Ski Team … fifth-ranked men’s alpine skier in the East … stepped on the podium four times, including both races to start the year at Harvard to earn
EISA Men’s Alpine Skier of the Week honors … nearly duplicated the feat the following week, taking second in the giant slalom again and finishing fourth in the slalom at Vermont … final podium came at Bates in the GS, placing third … produced two more top-five finishes, claiming fourth in the Williams GS and fifth in the slalom for the East Regional at Middlebury … ended season in 20th at the NCAA GS and did not get to race in the slalom due to the cancellation of the second half of the championships due to the coronavirus.
SOPHOMORE (2019)
All-America First Team in the giant slalom by finishing fourth at the NCAA Championship,
second team in the slalom (eighth) ...
All-East First Team and
EISA Male Alpine Rookie of the Year … top-ranked giant slalom skier in the East and third in the slalom … won four carnival races and took nine podiums … won both races in his collegiate debut at the season opener hosted by St. Lawrence to earn EISA Male Alpine Skier of the Week honors … won the giant slalom at New Hampshire and Vermont Carnivals, the latter garnering him
DartmouthSports.com Male Athlete of the Week honors … picked up another podium in third place in the GS at Middlebury, then took third in both events at the East Regional at Bates.
PERSONAL
Member of the U.S. Ski Team … winner of the NASJA-East Don A. Metivier Golden Ski Award in 2015, given to the most promising male and female junior alpine racers in the East … won the 2015 U.S. Alpine Super-G title, beating out World Cup, World Championship and Olympic medalist as a 20-year-old … first World Cup start came in late November of 2015 … first European Cup start came just two months later … debuted on the FIS circuit in 2010.
