With a year of experience under his belt, Riddle is expected to take on a much larger role as a sophomore … creates match-up problems for teams with his length and ball-handling abilities … capable of being a scorer for the Big Green to help fill the void left by Alex Barnett.
FRESHMAN (2008-09)
In the season opener at Army, he dished out three assists, his most for the season as it turned out … had a streak of five straight games with at least one block … started three games, all in December … hauled in a season-high eight rebounds at Vermont in 16 minutes of action … played an important role in the three-point win over Penn, coming up with steals on back-to-back possessions with three minutes left … also hit both shots he took, including his lone three-pointer of the season, for five points versus the Quakers.
HIGH SCHOOL
Lettered for coach John Carroll and teamed with fellow sophomore David Rufful at Northfield Mount Hermon in his post-graduate year … also lettered in track and placed second in the NEPSAC in the high jump … three-time letterman for coach Gary Childress at Grandview High School in Aurora, Colo. … helped Grandview to the Colorado 5A semifinals as a sophomore and junior … first team all-state, all-conference and all-academic as a senior … also earned MVP honors at the Colorado All-State Game … named to the Tournament of Champions all-tournament team.
