Q & A with Lauren
Why Dartmouth?
It was the best option academically, athletically and financially and I was interested in experiencing life in beautiful, rural New England. I liked the coach and the team when I visited, so I applied!
How long have you been running cross country and what got you interested in cross country?
I started running cross country my sophomore year of high school. I played tennis during my freshman fall and thought cross country runners were crazy, but after a fun, succesful freshman track season in the spring, I was talked into running cross country the following year.
Tell me something interesting about you that might come as a surprise to your teammates.
I almost played basketball in college (Div III) instead of running.
What are your future plans, if any?
I hope to work in the Church.
