Fall 2009: Went 9-4 in the fall ... won the D flight at Billie Jean King National Tennis Invitational ... was Co-Champion with Mary Beth Winingham at The Big Green Invite ... beat #114 nationally Dijana Stojic of University of South Carolina ... 8-3 in doubles ... made the Finals of B flight at Billie Jean King National Tennis Invitational with freshman Sarah Leonard.
Junior (2008-09): Appeared on the court in No. 2 and 3 singles, as well as at No. 2 doubles throughout the year ... went 10-13 on the year in singles ... got off to a great start with four consecutive wins at the UMD Fall Invitational ... earned three Ivy wins, including a victory against Brown’s Tanja Vucetic ... was a big player for Dartmouth in doubles play ... had a 9-14 mark in No. 2 doubles play ... competed with Carissa King for most of the season ... won five straight with King, including a wins over Harvard, Yale and Brown ... actually took down Brown twice during the season with the last coming on the final day in an 8-6 decision, while the Bears were ranked 58th in the nation.
Sophomore (2007-08): Named Second Team All-Ivy in doubles with partner Mary Beth Winingham ... the pair also earned a No. 6 ITA East Region fall doubles ranking ... paired with Mary Beth to reach the quarters of the ITA East Region Doubles Championship ... also played in the ITA singles qualifying draw, defeating Cornell’s Tamara John before falling in the round of 16 to William & Mary’s Lauren Sabacinski ... went 17-15 in singles, 4-3 Ivy League, playing mostly No. 4 ... Ivy wins over Princeton, Yale, Brown, and Cornell ... posted notable singles victories over Maryland, BC, and BU ... was 26-11 in doubles ... won the Flight 3 back draw at the Wake Forest Classic and reached the Flight 2 doubles final with Maggie Suydam ... won the Big Green Invitational doubles Flight 1 with Mary Beth.
Freshman (2006-07): Earned a team-high 17 victories in singles (17-9) ... was a staple in the top-six her rookie season, going 10-2 at No. 5 singles ... won first seven matches of the spring season, including a win against No. 75 Furman that helped spur Dartmouth’s 4-3 victory ... was 8-5 in doubles at the No. 2 and 3 spots ... “B” Flight quarterfinalist at Wake Forest’s Demon Deacon Classic ... “A” Flight semifinalist at Big Green Invitational ... knocked off No. 4 seed Masha Pozar from UMass ... edged in three sets by Rhode Island’s top player, eventual Big Green champ Lara Mauer, formerly Kentucky’s No. 2 player.
Before Dartmouth: Ranked as high as No. 100 in USTA girls’ 18s national rankings ... ranked No. 15 in Midwest section ... winner of 4 national sportsmanship awards, and numerous Midwest, Chicago District, and high school conference sportsmanship awards ... team won 2004 Illinois state high school title and was state runner-up twice ... four-year all-state high school selection and two-time team MVP ... Jesse and her stepfather, Roger Junge, are ranked #9 in the USTA National Father/ Daughter rankings and won a USTA silver ball for a second place national tournament finish.
