Dartmouth Women's Lacrosse Announces Incoming Class

Hanover, N.H.- In September, the Dartmouth women's lacrosse team will welcome eight student-athletes as members of the Class of 2012 to Hanover.

Head Coach Amy Patton and her staff have assembled yet another impressive recruiting class, featuring players from five different states including Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York and Virginia.

"We are thrilled with the level of talent and athleticism of our incoming class," said Patton, who is entering her 16th season at the helm. "While each student-athlete brings exceptional skills and knowledge of the game, we are even more impressed with their excitement, energy and passion for becoming a member of our special Dartmouth community."

Hilary Smith

First Team All-Ivy Prep League in 2006 and 2007...Team MVP her junior year...Led Hackley to league titles in each of her three seasons to date and to New York State titles in 2005 and 2006.

The 2008 edition of the Big Green, ranked 18th in the Lacrosse Magazine preseason poll, starts its season on Sunday, Feb. 24 when it heads to #5 Syracuse. Game time is set for noon.
