Hanover, N.H. - Dartmouth junior
Myra Sack (Wynnewood, Pa.) a
midfielder on the women's soccer team, has been named to the NSCAA
Scholar All-America national second team.
Sack, a government major, was also named to the Scholar All-East Region first team. The honor comes on the heels of Sack's finest season yet wearing the green and white. She earned All-Ivy first team honors after leading the Big Green in scoring with 11 points coming on three goals and five assists. Sack ran the offense expertly for Dartmouth, starting all 16 games and logging more than 1400 minutes in midfield.
Sack is joined by one other Ivy representative, classmate Sophie Reiser, an All-Ivy forward from Columbia. The full teams can be viewed
here. The Scholar All-America selections are invited to be recognized at the annual All-America Luncheon, to be held in St. Louis, Mo., on Saturday, Jan. 17, as part of the 2009 NSCAA Convention
