THIS WEEKEND'S GAMES
The Dartmouth men's hockey team takes on its twin-state rival with a matchup against Vermont. The Big Green is looking to bounce back from a loss last Sunday while the Catamounts are looking for a two-game win streak.
SERIES HISTORY
These former ECAC traveling partners began meeting on Jan. 15, 1931 with a 10-0 Dartmouth win in Thompson Arena. The Big Green is currently enjoying a 13-11-2 lead in the series over the Catamounts since Bob Gaudet took over at Dartmouth. The two are tied at five-wins apiece in the last ten games as UVM won the meeting last season, 3-2.

Vermont won its last game over St. Lawrence and currently has a 7-6-2 overall record. The Catamounts are 4-5-2 in Hockey East with wins over Boston College, Northeastern and Providence.

Classmate Brian Roloff has potted the most power play goals with three as he is third on the team in scoring with nine points. Upperclassmen dominate UVM in points as the top six point-getters are juniors or seniors.
In net time has been split between two goalies as sophomore Rob Madore has played in 11 games and has a 4-4-2 record while senior Mike Spillane has played in six games with a 3-2-0 record. Madore has a 3.02 GAA and an .899 save percentage while Spillane has a 3.13 GAA and an .894 save percentage.

Dartmouth was home in a non-conference matchup with Atlantic Hockey foe, Sacred Heart. The Big Green came out quickly with a goal by Kyle Reeds 1:30 into the contest but it was the Pioneers that scored the next four as the visitors took a 4-1 lead after the first period.
Despite outshooting SHU the next two frames, the Big Green was unable to get anymore scoring as Dartmouth dropped its seventh game of the season.
