HANOVER, N.H. — In a home-and-home series with Harvard this past weekend, the Crimson outplayed the Big Green in both contests. On November 19 at Cambridge, Harvard scored five goals in a 5-3 victory. On November 20 at Thompson Arena, Dartmouth took a 2-1 lead into the third period, but the Crimson scored two goals to win, 3-2.

SCOUTING THE BIG GREEN
Dartmouth is second in the ECAC with 10 points. Harvard also has 10 points but has one less win. The Big Green are 6-3-0 overall and 5-3-0 in league play. Cornell leads the conference with 12 total points and a 6-0-0 record in conference play.

Dartmouth is led by many different scorers, with defenseman Sasha Nanji leading the way. Nanji leads the team with 12 points on eight goals and four assists. Sophomore Camille Dumais is second on the team in points with ten. She has three goasl and seven assists Senior Amanda Trunzo is third in points with nine on five goals and four assists. Junior Kelly Foley has five goals and three assists for eight points. Sophomore Sally Komarek is second on the team in assists with six. She also has a goal for seven total points. Lauren Kelly leads the freshmen class with six points on one goal and five assists. Junior Jenna Hobeika jumped up the points list after recording a goal and two assists at Harvard. She has five points on the season on one goal and four assists. Overall, the squad has had 14 players record a point, and had 10 players record a goal and an assist.

In net, freshman Lindsay Holdcroft has seen a majority of the action, starting six games. She has played 361:04 minutes, made 107 saves, has a 2.66 goals against average, a 4-2-0 record and a .870 save percentage. Sophomore Whitney Woodcox has started three games, totaling 180:02 minutes. She has made 48 saves, has a 3.00 goals against average, a 2-1-0 record and a .842 save percentage.

The team is averaging 3.33 goals per game, while only giving up 2.89 goals per game. The offense has been aggressive, taking 30.9 shots per game. On the power play, the Big Green have scored goals on nine of their 42 chances or 21.4 percent of the time. On the penalty kill, Dartmouth has allowed goals five out of the 31 chances.

100 FOLLOWED BY 100
Two games after recording her 100th point, Amanda Trunzo played in her 100th game on November 19 at Harvard. She becomes the 69th player in the program's history to play in 100 games. Two other Big Green players are closing in on the century mark. Senior forward Alyssa Boehm has played in 95 career games and senior captain Katie Horner has played in 87.

NATIONAL LEADER
Sasha Nanji has been scoring at a frantic pace to start the season. In nine game played, she is averaging 1.33 points per game, which is the highest mark in the nation for a defenseman. She is the only defensive skater averaging over a point a game. The next closest skater is Cassea Schols from Mercyhurst at 0.91.

NATIONAL RANKINGS
The Big Green dropped out of the USCHO.com national poll after going 1-2 last week. Wisconsin is the top-ranked team (150 points) in the country and have an 11-1 record. Cornell is second with 130 points. Dartmouth is the top team also receiving votes with eight. The Big Green missed being ranked by one point, with 10th-ranked Ohio State receiving nine points.

CONFERENCE LEADERS
In the conference statistics, the Big Green have multiple skaters in the league leaders. Nanji leads the ECAC in points with 11, Camille Dumais is third with nine and Amanda Trunzo is tied for fourth with eight. In goals scored, Nanji is second in the conference with seven and Trunzo and Kelly Foley are tied for third with three. In assists, Dumais leads the league with six and Sally Komarek is tied for second with five.

OUTSIDE THE ECAC
The Big Green are 1-0-0 out of conference this season after their win against Providence. Last year, the squad was 3-2-1 out of conference. All of the non-conference games last year were against Hockey East foes. The game against Boston College will begin a stretch of five consecutive non-league games.

EXTENDED BREAK
After the game against Boston College, Dartmouth will go 16 days until they play another game. The Big Green will also only play one game over the span of 34 days. The only game in the next month is at New Hampshire on December 11. Dartmouth then plays at Vermont on December 29. The Big Green return home on January 1, against UConn.

SCOUTING THE EAGLES
Sixth-ranked Boston College enters Wednesday's game with an 8-2-4 overall record and a 5-1-2 mark in Hockey East play. The Eagles are coming off their second loss of the season on November 21 at home to Boston University, 1-0. On November 20, the Eagles won at the Terriers, 6-3.

Senior Kelli Stack leads the team in scoring with 24 points. The forward has 14 goals and 10 assists on the season. Junior Mary Restuccia is second with 16 points. She leads the team in assists with 12 and has four goals. The only other player with double-digit points is freshman Taylor Wasylk. The forward has scored eight goals and recorded six assists. Three players are tied for fourth on the team with eight points. Freshman Melissa Bizzari has four goals and four assists, junior Danielle Welch has three goals and five assists and sophomore Blake Bolden has three goals and five assists.

In net for the Eagles, senior Molly Schaus has started 11 of 14 games. She has played 649:56 minutes, made 233 saves, has a .943 save percentage, an 8-1-2 record and a 1.29 goals against average.

Boston College is averaging 3.14 goals per game and only allows 1.79. The offense has been consistent taking 33.4 shots per game. On the power play, the squad has 13 goals in 64 chances for a 20.3 percent conversion rate. On the penalty kill, the Eagles have allowed nine goals in 72 chances.

SERIES HISTORY
The series has been dominated by the Big Green with Dartmouth holding a 25-2-2 record in 29 meetings. The two teams first met on January 21, 1980, at Boston College. Dartmouth won the game, 3-2. The Eagles won the next season, at Thompson Arena, 3-1. The Big Green won the next 14 games, including a 16-1 win, a 14-0 victory and an 18-0 win.
