Jenna Hobeika (Alpine, N.J.) earned the MLX Skates Player of the Week honor and freshman goaltender
Lindsay Holdcroft (Pittsburgh, Pa.) was named the MLX Skates Rookie of the Week.
In two games against Connecticut this past weekend, Hobeika recorded two goals and three assists. In the 9-2 victory on Jan. 1, the forward assisted on the first goal of the game. In the 5-0 win on Jan. 2, Hobeika scored two goals and tallied two assists. she now has three goals on the season and seven assists for a total of 10 points.
In her eighth career start, Holdcroft recorded her first career shutout in the 5-0 win over the Huskies on Jan. 2. The goaltender recorded 16 saves, while tallying at least five saves in each period. She improved her season record to 5-3-0.
The Big Green return to the ice on Friday, Jan. 7, when they travel to RPI for a 3 p.m. start.
