DARTMOUTH WOMEN'S SOCCER WEEKLY NOTES
Scouting Columbia – Columbia's Allison Spencer and Holly Neshat swept this week's Ivy League Player and Rookie of the Week awards. Spencer, a sophomore goalkeeper, blanked Princeton 1-0 last week. Neshat, the Ivy League Rookie of the Week, scored the lone goal against the Tigers for her first collegiate tally. The Lions are currently 6-2-5 overall and 2-1-1 in Ivy play with three games remaining.
All-Time Series vs. Marist - Monday's contest will be the first-ever meeting between the Big Green and Marist Red Foxes.
Scouting Marist– Marist recently fell to Canisius, 3-1 and will take on Monmouth on Saturday before its meeting with the Big Green next Monday. The Red Foxes are currently 2-9-4 overall and have struggled a bit in MAAC play with a 1-4-3 mark. Marist has three players with four points on the season — Amanda Epstein, Marjana Maksuti and Marissa Mertens — who also have two goals each. The Hudson Valley squad has also started three keepers this season, as head coach Katherine Lyn has yet to find a suitable starter.
Blank Wins - In all four Big Green wins this season, the Upper Valley squad has shut out its opponents and has yet to drop a game at Burnham Field (3-0-3). In the six home matches this season, Dartmouth has allowed one goal against.
D-###### - The Dartmouth defense has held the opposition to less than a goal against this season. In 11 games, senior Tatiana Saunders has allowed nine goals in 984:26 minutes inside the cage. Sophomore Casey Cousineau has not allowed a goal in 191:39 and has been on the field for two shutouts.
Follow Along - For the second year the Ivy League Digital Network will broadcast all eight Big Green home games, along with select Ivy League road matches. Peter Graves returns for his second season calling the action. Fans can also follow along with live stats on DartmouthSports.com.
