Trio of Seniors Picked to Captain Women's Soccer in 2015

HANOVER, N.H. – Three members of the Dartmouth women's soccer team will serve as team captains in 2015.

Seniors Corey Delaney, Jackie Friedman and Lucielle Kozlov have been tasked with helping to lead the Big Green back to the top of the Ivy League standings this fall.

Delaney — a Chatham, New Jersey, native — was an All-Ivy First Team player as well as an NSCAA All-Mid-Atlantic Region selection in 2014, while also being tabbed as Dartmouth's Player of the Year. She has been a first-team all-conference player in each of her first three seasons in Hanover, while earning Ivy League Rookie of the Year honors in 2012.

Like Delaney, Friedman — a native of Rancho Santa Fe, California — was also a First Team All-Ivy League and NSCAA All-Mid-Atlantic Region selection last fall. As a sophomore in 2013, Friedman was named the team's player of the year.

Vancouver, British Columbia, native Kozlov is a two-time All-Ivy Honorable Mention player, earning the distinction in each of the last two seasons. The Big Green's leader in both goals (5) and points (12) in 2014, Kozlov rounds out the trio of senior captains.

Dartmouth opens the year Sunday at Marist in a non-conference tilt set to get underway at 1 p.m.
