HANOVER, N.H. – The No. 9 Dartmouth lightweight rowing team hosted No. 1 Yale for the Durand Cup on Saturday. This was the Big Green's third of five consecutive home races.
The varsity 8 was the closest of the three races. The Bulldogs completed the 2,000-meter course first (5:37.9) and were followed exactly 10 seconds later by the Big Green (5:47.9). In the second varsity, Yale was first in 5:42.6 and Dartmouth was second with a time of 6:05.0.
In the third varsity, the Bulldogs crossed the line with a 5:51.7, while the Green were 15 second behind in 6:06.8.
On Sunday, Dartmouth host the Subin Cup against Columbia.
