HANOVER, N.H. – The No. 9 Dartmouth lightweight rowing team hosted its second race of the weekend on Sunday, this time taking on No. 2 Columbia for the Subin Cup. The Lions won all three events.
The first race of the day was the third varsity. Columbia completed the 2,000-meter course first (5:58.2) and was followed by Dartmouth (6:15.2) soon after. In the second varsity, the Lions finished with a time of 5:53.7, leaving just over 10 seconds between them and the Green in 6:05.2.
In the last race of the day, the varsity 8, Columbia won the Subin Cup by coming in first (5:43.1), finishing nine seconds ahead of Dartmouth (5:52.1).
The Big Green's final home event will take place next Saturday, April 30, when Dartmouth takes on Cornell for the Baggaley Bowl.
