PRINCETON, N.J. – Sophomore goalkeeper
Mariel Gordon was named the Ivy League player of the week following a career high nine saves in Dartmouth's scoreless draw at Princeton Saturday.

Gordon turned away nine of the 10 shots on goal by the Tigers, including three game-saving stops in overtime. The sophomore recorded her fifth shutout of the season which ranks third among Ivy League goalies. Dartmouth was just the second team to shut out Princeton this season.

The Tigers entered Saturday's contest tied for the conference lead with 15 goals. They were also the No. 20 team in the TopDrawerSoccer.com poll, No. 21 in the RPI and in the receiving votes category of the United Soccer Coaches top-25 poll.

From Dallas, Texas, Gordon is currently second in the Ivy League with 4.80 saves per game and 48 saves.
